Want to be a guest on the Elora Fergus Podcast? Here’s how we welcome voices from our community and what you need to know.

About Being a Guest on the Podcast
The Elora Fergus Podcast celebrates the people, places, and events that make Centre Wellington such a vibrant place to live. We honour and value the contributions of our community, and this podcast is one way we shine a spotlight on local stories.
It’s important to know that we are 100% volunteer-run.
We fit interviews and recordings into our busy schedules and do our best to share as much as possible. While we wish we could accommodate every guest request, the reality is that it isn’t always possible.
If we can’t fit you in, it’s not a reflection of your story or its importance — it’s simply a matter of time and resources.
How Interviews Are Conducted
We keep things short and conversational. Here’s what you can expect:
📹 Interviews are recorded via Google Meet and typically run about 10 minutes.
🎙️ The full interview is not published. Instead, we’ll share clips and highlights during an episode, where our hosts will add context and discussion.
❓ We’ll only have time for a few questions, so we encourage you to come prepared with a relevant story and succinct sound bites that will resonate with listeners.
What We Request from Our Guests
We ask just three simple things to help spread the word:
Share & talk about your episode on your social media. This benefits you, your organization, and helps amplify your story.
A few photos we can use to help promote the episode.
Tag us in your posts so we can reshare and celebrate alongside you.
Encourage others to listen — whether it’s family, friends, or colleagues, word of mouth helps our podcast grow and ensures your story reaches more people.
